regular frog's progress springing over the moor
holes and to add to our discomfort a wetting
rain was falling. Eventually I arrived at a
small loch, Loch na Breac, not on the
map so I knew I was too far W. [West] and re:
:turned down the burn to cross the Dun:
:beath Water.

Hut Circle Achnaclyth (33).
Some 3/4 m. [mile] SSE [South South East] of the shepherd's house at
Achnaclyth on the slope of the hill about
1/4 m [mile] S. [South] of the Dunbeath Water is a hut
circle. The wall or bank is overgrown
but a facing of stones set on and around
the exterior is here and there visible. The
interior diameter is
some 30' and the
thickness of the bank about 7'. The entrance
is from the E [East] and its breadth is indefinite.
Some 40 yds [yards] S. [South] of the last is another
hut circle with interior dimensions of
23' x 25' and Entrance from the E. [East]
2' in width. The wall which is 6'
thick has been faced on the exterior
with large flat stones from 2' to 3' in
length and 1' in thickness laid almost
contiguously.
