of about 11'.

?Cairn (57)
On the moor above the high bank to the N. [North]
of the Berriedale water and about 1/3 m. [mile] N [North]
of the junction of the Allt an Dun with
that stream is a stony mound from
which large stones protrude and which is
possibly a cairn. It has a diameter
of some 40' and elevation of 5' - 6'.

Hut circles & mounds
Some 200 yds. [yards] N. [North] of the broch above the Allt an
Duin and near the cairn (no. 57) are the in:
:distinct remains of a large hut circle.
Some 25 yds. [yards] NE. [North East] lies another measuring
interiorly some 37' x 42' and having its
entrance from SE [South East] about 6' wide, while the
remains of another, ill defined, are visible
some 30 yds. [yards] to the S. [South]. In the vicinity are
one or two small mounds, while scattered
along the slope of the hill below, for a
distance of several hundred yards,
are a number of other mounds of from
12' - 18' in diameter and 2' to 2'.6" in height.

Cairn Allt Ard Achaidh Birriedale (56)
Perched on the top of the S. [South] bank of the
Allt ard Achaidh near its junction with
the Berriedale water is a cairn. It
measures 38' in diameter and 5' in elevation.
