Hut Circle & cists.
On a ridge a little more than 1/4 m. [mile] WSW. [West South West]
of Watenan farm is a hut circle and exposed
around it a number of cists the upper surfaces
of which are almost level with the ground.
The hut circle lies at the S. [South] end of the ridge
and appears to have been cleared out. It
has been built of stone with a wall some
3' to 4' in thickness & has been circular, having
an interior diameter of 13' to 14'. From the
NE. [North East] an inner wall part of an interior circle
runs segmentally for a distance of 9' beyond
which it is broken down. This wall is
2'.6" in thickness at its termination is 1'.10"
distant from the inner face of the outer
