Broch. Sithean Harraig Loch Olginey (43)
On the E. [East] side of the road to Thurso about 1/2 m. [mile]
N. [North] of Scotscalder station and 1/3 m. [mile] E. [East] of the S. [South]
end of Loch Olginey are the remains of a broch
known as "Sithean Harraig." The mound covering
the ruin has been quarried into to some extent
on the S. [South] side. It has a diameter over all of
about 76' and an elevation of 8'. No measur:
:able part of the structure is exposed.

Achingoul "Mound" (44)
Of any artificial mound at this place we
could find no trace. The mound which
seemed to be indicated on the map had been
lately dug into and its natural character was
clearly demonstrated.

Broch Upper Sour (11)
In the corner of a field some 300 yds. [yards] W. [West] of
the farm house of Upper Sour is a large
grassy mound containing the ruins of a
broch. The mound tails away to the S. [South] and
at the N. [North] end has been situated the broch.
It has been quarried to some extent but
the face of the wall is noplace exposed.
The diameter of the structure has been
from 60' to 70' and the greatest elevation
of the mound is some 8' or 9'.

"Housel Cairn" Halkirk (47)
At the edge of a cultivated field about
1/4 m. [mile] WSW. [West South West] of Gerston Distillery, Halkirk is
a large grassy mound. The mound has
