P!o,ce-dates ofRobert I (1306-29) Summary of 1308 to 1329 The changed distribution represents the king's illness including his pilgrimage by sea from Cardross to Whithorn. He was at Edinburgh for the March 1328 parliament but the other eastern places very probably represent the chancellor's or the chamberlain's wherea bouts. The chancellor was no longer the abbot of Arbroath. The small inset is a composite of the preceding five maps. It shows the .J distribution of the places at which Robert I granted acts over his reign.
