018 A Steep rocky [Mountain] Hill nearly of a Conical Shape Situated East of Glenluce 4 Miles on the road from the latter place to Port William it commands an extensive view of the Surrounding district & in clear weather the Mountains of Mourne County down North of Ireland may be Seen with the naked eye it is Situated on the KnocK or KnocK of Luce farm On the Summit is a Trig [Trigonometrical] Station.
