A Steep rocky hill or mountain nearly of a conical Shape on the farm of Knock of Luce (from which the latter derives its name) Commanding an extensive view of the surrounding district. Near to the Summit can be traced the remains or track of a wall it enclosed an area around the Summit nearly resembling an oval and was built on the edge of a precipice being the steep sides of the mountain. There is no tradition or account of this wall - here is also a trigl. [Trigonometrical] Station named Knock of Luce by trigl. [Trigonometrical] Party.
