" It has a Post Office, and the mail Coach running between Dumfries and [Portpatrick]
passes through it daily. There are 3 Places of Worship in the Town, one is of the
established Church of Scotland, one belonging to the Free Kirk, and one to a
Body of Presbyterians called the "Seceders".
A Cattle Market is held near Glenluce ; on the first Friday of every Month
