017 [Situation] about the centre of the Parish and South of the Town of Glenluce. - A considerable stream which rises in the N.E. [North East] part of the Parish, takes a course through the centre of the Parish Westward passes through a beautiful ornamental Glen, South of the Town of Glenluce, and south of BalKail. the residence of J.Adair Esqr. crosses the old road from Glenluce to Port William, and about 1/2 mile to the South of Glenluce falls into the Luce Water at its entrance into Luce Bay.
