A short st. having but a [few] houses in it one story high [occupied] by Labourers, on the north [side] of this street is a chapel [belonging] to the 2d. scession congregation this chapel is a plain building [with] seven circular toped Windows [the] interior is commodious having a good gallery &c Sittings for [400] persons - the Living is about £126 the Minister Rev [Reverend] [Mr] W. Smillie. attached to the [chapel] is a Burying Ground. The [name] of this church was lately changed [to ] that of Belle Villa United Presbyterian Church
