016 Is a rectangular Shape formerly occupied by the proprietor. it is at the present held by the Burgh of Stranraer as a Prison. is Capable of holding about 22 prisoners. 5 cells for [prisoners] and two lock - ups together with accommadation for the Keeper. on ground are two cells used as Stores,- "In the old Parish of Inch there are two chapels :Saint John's Chapel, which stood at the South end of Loch Ryan and at the East end of the Burgh of Stranraer.
