015 A Tolerable large hill Partly arable & Partly Pasture So Call'd from A Round Fort or Cairn . But more like the Danish forts in Ireland . The Surfice of this fort is now flat from cultivation But the Ditch or Drain of defence is still entire. This hill is on the farmes of Little Larbrax & Port Logan. On the Summit of which Stands A Trigl. ◬ [Trigonometrical Station] Called BY Trigl. [Trigonometrical] Party Sheepfold: Situated Convenient to the West Side of the Road from Kirkcolm to Portpatrick this Hill is on the Lands of Sir Andrew Agnew Bt. [Baronet] And is Called Rough Cairn Hill to distinguish it from Other Cairn Hills
