010 A large hill covered with heath on the farm of the Eyes it takes its name from a Small Loch called Loch Doon which lies a little S.[South] West of the hill on its Summit is a Trig [Trigonometrical] Station called by the trig [trigonometrical] party Eyes Hill after the farm on which it Stands.
