006 [Situation] ¼ Mile North of Killgallioch Farm House & South of Craigarie Fell
A small patch of ground somewhat raised and surrounded by the track of an old Wall or Stone fence; It is not known in the Country at what time it was used as a burying ground. There are no Head Stones or Grave Stones with inscriptions &c to mark the date of any interment.

It is said that a Battle was fought at this place, and that some died of Fear. But between whom it was fought or at what time is not known.

Three small springs contigious tothe Sheep Raes of Killgallioch, each well is built over with loose stones, and over each there is a small niche wherein a bowl or Hat might be placed. There is a tradition here that these wells were at one time held in great veneration, by the religous enthusiasts, and that Penitents resorted hither to offer up their Prayers and perform other religious ceremonies.
