HUT CIRCLE [Skelbo Wood] Hut Circle 110 Situated 8 chains to the East of the "Pictish Tower" there is a "Hut Circle" of Small dimensions the outer Circle is still prominent and stands about 18 Inches or 2 feet high.
CAIRN (Remains of) [Skelbo Wood] Cairns (Remains of) 110 Situated a little over a quarter of a mile E. [East] by South of the "Pictish Tower" there is the remains of what has been a large "Cairn" it is in a very dilapidated condition the stones haveing being nearly all removed for building purposes.
TUMULI [Skelbo Wood] Tumuli 110 Situated to the East of and Scattered Around these objects are numerous "Tumuli" of Small dimensions and not very prominent. they are all, Chiefly Composed of Earth and covered with moss & grass, the whole are on the property of His Grace the DuKe of Sutherland.
