It is chiefly occupied by sportsmen who rent fishing on the River Shin together with the Lease of some Grouse Shooting in the neighbourhood. A small room on this building is allotted off as a Post Office & there is an arrival and despatch daily, (Sunday excepted) the former at 8.20 P.M. and the latter at 10.20 PM. the Mails are Conveyed by a travelling post from Ardgay, Rosshire, which is distant about five miles.
