097 Applied to a steep rocky precipice in every way inaccessible but by a narrow neck of land between it and a neighbouring hill, and situated a short distance East of Coire Uisgidh. It contains about ten acres of land and is said to have been fortified with a ditch of circumvalation but no trace of the ditch now remains His Grace the DuKe of Sutherland proprietor.
