Questions having arisen as to whether
Certain Valleys on Sheet 102 Lairg
should not have names ascribed to them,
I beg to submit to you the one Inch Plan
of the District in question and would ask
you to be so good as to say if the
under mentioned districts have names, and
if so to what extent of country the names
apply.
1 Valley between "Kyle of Sutherland and
Lairg" Achany Glen.
2 Valley between "Bonar Bridge" and
Amal Lodge" through which River Conon
flows. Strath Carron.
3 Valley extending from "Amal Lodge" westward
through which "Abhuinn an t-Srath Chuilionaich"
flows. Strath Cuilionnach
If you can give me the above information,
I shall feel greatly obliged.

have done with it
