Valuation Roll for 1855-6		 031.15 A two-storied mansion situate on the elevated banks of the "winding Avon" (this river separtes Stirlingshire form that of Linlithgow). Its situation is romantic and picturesque in the extreme, and truly imposing to the spectator; it is slated and in a very good condition. Charles Stirling Esqr. Proprietor & occupant.
