It is situated near the west base of the Abbey Craig, and adopted as a place of residence by many visiting the mineral wells of Airthrey, distant about a mile. The small portion of it in this parish contains about forty inhabitants and a girls school. The houses are chiefly two storeys and all slated and in good repair. Property of various individuals. |
