010.07 A rapid river flowing in a southerly direction from where it joins & becomes the parish & county boundary, for a short distance, falling into the River Forth east of & adjacent to Craigforth Mill. Its waters are turned off by dams for the use of the different mills upon its bank, in the neighbourhood of Bridge of Allan. Its banks are mostly steep, & its bed gravelly during its course as the parish boundary.
