016.01 | A large quarry situated near the turnpike road betweeen Kippen & Fintry. It has been in operation for upwards of thirty years. The stone which belongs to the Old Red Sandstone formation is soft in quality, and on long exposure to the atmosphere, crumbles down to its primitive state.
