028.04 Two small cairns of stones erected over the graves of two pedlars, one of whom, while travelling over the moors, was murdered by the other. The murderer having been brought to justice was executed, and buried on the spot where the murder was committed, and by the side of his victim. This occurred upwards of a century ago.
