016.13 ; 016.14 A Small burn rising in the Fintry Hills after a course of about 1½ mile through a mossy bed it joins Gourlay's burn & the two then take the name of Backside Burn. Prior to its junction with Gourlay's Burn it forms the parish boundary for a short distance.

016.14 This burn is formed by the junction of Shelloch and Gourlay's Burns, and forms the boundary for about a mile between Gargunnock and Fintry it them joins Burnfoot Burn and the two take the name of the Endrick Water.
