015 ; 016 ; 021 ; 022 A range of Hills extending from the Parish Boundary of Balfron and Gargunnock, with Fintry, to the Endrick Water. They form part of a range of hills originating near Stirling, in the East, and running a direct line West by South, until it terminates abruptly in a bluff shoulder in Fintry called Stronend, behind Culceuch House.
The Fintry Hills are of a precipitous character on the North, and South-West but sloping in other directions. They are covered chiefly with enough pasture to support a great number of sheep.
