Nimmo's History of Stirlingshire
030.02 A narrow ridge slightly elevated, and situated in the south east corner of Tentfield Plantation; the great Wall of Antoninus passes through. Nimmo is his history of Stirlingshire supposes it to have been an exploratory turret of the Romans, but there is nothing on the ground at present to support such a supposition.
