The principal portion of this stream has been diverted from its original course, to make room for the construction of the Forth and Clyde Canal, together with the different Docks at Grangemouth Its original course in this locality was very sinuous the artificial channel through which it now runs is nearly straight. Grangemouth derives its name from this stream. |
