007.16 A farm house and offices attached the property of the Duke of Montrose. Mr. Rennie says that the Steading is situated on the site of the Chapel mentioned of in history
"On the barony of Drummond in the north of the parish, there is a place called Chapel-laroch, where there was an ancient Chapel, whose ruins were standing in 1724. It is said to have been dedicated to the Virgin, and to have been dependent on Inchmahome. In its Vicinity lies Dalmary, or Mary's field"
