028.06 This is the highest hill in the north east of the Parish and is next in height to the "Earls Seat" in the north-western extremity of Campsie Parish. It belongs to that range of the Fells, which are the only proper Fells in the Parish, between the "Craw Road" in the west (Trace 2. 27.8) and the "Brown Hill" in the east (Trace 5. 28.6). The top of this Hill is the only part to be defined by itself, as is in its fall on the north & south sides it may be said to be part of the range on which it stands. It is now generally known as "Cort-ma Law" which may be a corruption of the form given on Estate Map.
