028.05 A small mountain stream which comes off the top of the Fells east of "Sloughmuclock" and flows down by the side of Balgrochan into a stream which forms a dam for "Lennox Mill Print Works", Although this name does not appear to be much known. It is, as stated by Mr. Kincaid, a name that he & his forefathers have always known it by. This Farmer is the best authority in the Parish for names on the hills in the N [North] east of Campsie

028.05 A rocky gully having several tiers of out-cropping rock some of which are steep on each side of it. The name is taken from its having a cascade over it in rainy seasons and being dry in fine weather.

028.05 This stream first issues about the brow of the range or Fells and passes through a small gully in the Craigs east of Dry Burn to the bottom of the rocks where it spreads & becomes lost, after which it becomes defined on the west of the "Caledonian Fort" and flows past [there] into the stream which passes on the east side of the "Ferrets".
