027 Three projecting Knowes above the level portion of ground known as the "Fasseys". They rise with the heights between "Aldessan Burn" & "Almeel Burn", and the yellow Shade, shewn on Examination Trace, is their form on the south side as they stand above the "Fasseys", where they become a little steep in falling towards the flat ground. There is no defined top to them on the north side from its being merely the slope part of a height terminating above the "Fasseys" in the shape represented on Traces. The name is well known.

027 A Burn which comes from "Hart Hill near the water shed of the Parish & flows to the "Kirk Burn" which it joins in the "Campsie or Kirkton Glen", passing over a deep Linn known as the "Spout o' Craiglie".
