021 The east side of Holehead between the head of "Newhouse Burn" & the Boundary Dyke of the Ph. [Parish] It applies to the whole face of the hills between the yellow shade of the top of Holehead, shewn on Trace, and the "Craw Road", but is better understood as the steepest part of the side of the hill, which is about where the name is written. Though this name might be understood it has been found necessary to adopt it from the reference made to it by the people in the district as a well known landmark.

021 A Burn which comes off the brow of the "Outer Black Hill" and enters "Nineteen times Burn". It takes its name from a house which formerly stood near it.
