The top and sides are covered with good pasture with a few patches of heather and form an excellent pasture for sheep. Only a narrow strip of the range is in the Ph. [Parish] of Balfron.

015.16 A precipitous rocKy shoulder of the Fintry hills forming the North-west corner of that range and is situated partly in Balfrom & partly in Fintry. The top affords good pasture for sheep, but the sides are rough & covered for the most part with bushes, furze & loose rocKs.
