D. [Doctor of Philosophy] etc. etc. of the Anthropological society of London, to excavate this object, but in consequence of the difficulty experienced, from the size of the object and the material of which it is composed - huge boulders intermixed with small broken burnt looking stones - the project was abandoned. |
