A gentleman's residence three stories in height with Office, Houses, Domain, pleasure grounds, & gardens attached, occupied by the proprietor, Thomas M. Scott Esqr.
This manor was an ancient possession of the Turnbulls, from whom it passed to the Cranstounes, and from that family to the great grandfather of the present possessor, Thomas Macmillan Scott.
