A deep rocky ravine with a stream running thro' [through] it on the Estate of Harwood. Several Specimens of fossil remains of fishes i.e. "Holoptychius" have ben found here by eminent Geologists - the knowledge of which, removes all doubt as to the precise nature of this formation (old Red Sandstone) and definitely establishes the question as to its geological relation.
