Innes's, and are discribed in
Douglas' Baronage, as Innes
of InnerbraKie. Sir William
Gordon purchased the Estate
only last Century & changed
its name to Invergordon,
apparently the old name
became attached to the
Point of land opposite
the Firth.
In looking at an older plan
of the Estate I find the
(Date about 1750)
