It is of considerable width and cultivated from Brahan Castle to Muirton Mains, It then becomes very narrow and wooded until your reach Scatwell House, where it again widens out a little & us cultivated but only for a short distance. From Scatwell the valley again becomes very narrow and inclines southerly. It is covered with heathy pasture until reaching Strath Conon from where it becomes more of a plain & is cultivated as far as Dalbreac Lodge. The remainder of the valley is narrow and covered with heathy pasture. |
