003A | An island, the principal one of the Summer-Isle group. It is situated about a mile from the mainland of Coigach, and the space thus intervening is called Baden Bay. On the east Side of the island there is an excellent anchorage formed by two promonories whose extremities are designated Rudha Ard-na-goine and Rudha Dubh, respectively. There is a stone pier used as a landing place, and which was built for the accommodation of fish curers who had a station there at and part of which still exists. the island is inhabited. |
