090 The extreme point of the neck of land projecting into the Moray Firth called Chanonry Ness. There is a lighthouse on this point & from it a ferry boat plies between it and Fort George on the opposite side of the Firth & when Steamers are plying betwee Aberdeen & Inverness their boats take off passengers & luggage from the jetty at this point.

090 A northern Lighthouse station on Chanonry Point consisting of a substantially built Lighthouse having all the new apperatus for lighting such objects with a commodious dwelling house attached for the Keepers. Property & under the control of the Northern Lights' Board.
