090 A small cross of an inferior description situated on Chanonry Ness a short distance south east of the Black Isle Combination Poorhouse. It is composed of a single stone shaft about 5 feet high & about 1 foot in diameter & according to tradition it was at this cross the last witch in Scotland was burnt.
