There is a distillery at Braelanwell ------- No Distillery
There are 3 schools in the parish. The parochial school is in the
centre. There is another school at Drimcudden, established ------- Written & Described
in 1823, by the Inverness Education Society. The other school is
at the village of Jemimaville ------- Written & Described
The church is more than sufficiently large for the accommodation
of the stated congregation which assemble in it. The Manse,
office houses, and Garden Wall were built about year 183[7]
In replying to remarks on Antiquities &c in the parish, ------- The information given in
the Superintendent of Examiners will supply all the local ------- name sheets was obtained
information he can obtain and state what steps he has taken to ------- in the locality, many of

Whether is Kirkmichael and Cullicudden, or Resolis, ------- the parish give the
the propert legal authorised name? ------- name Resolis
I see a reason given in page 1 of these Extracts for changing ------- Vide Name Sheet
the parish name to Resolis; but doubt if this would hold good
in a Suit of Law for I believe neither the parish name nor the Boundaries
of a parish can be changed without an Act of Parliament.
Suppose the parish Church was removed to another district
or estate, it would not be legal and would not hold good
in Law to call the parish name after the name of the new
estate or district to which the parish church would be ------- removed
Bring this before the Clergyman and some of the principal
Heritors and ascertain which name they will Sanction to be written on the Plans
