078 This name applies to the Remains of a large Cairn of Stones It was about thirty feet in diameter and fifteen feet high about the year 1835: but has Since been Removed for farm purposes all but a few loose stones lying on the surface of the Ground; It is supposed there was a fierce battle fought near this spot and that the Cairn was Erected to mark the Burial place of one of the Slain Chieftans, but who the contending Parties were or at what date it occurred cannot be ascertained
