123 This name applies to the Roman Catholic Chapel which is a very neat and Substantial building, it has a very fine stained glass East window, and belfray with two bells on the western gable, it is seated to contain 170 communicants. Revd [Reverend] Mr Cameron officiating Priest the whole buildings, Chapel, school, Nunnery and Priests Residence was erected in 1861 at an outlay of 7000£ by the Dutchess of Leeds, and presented to the parish free together with the ground they occupy.
