055; 066; 067 A large extent of mud and Sand situated in a bay of the Cromarty Firth. They are about five miles in their greatest length by two and a half broad.There are three banks divided by the channels Delny Dock and Big Audle. They are altogether mud near the low water and sandy near the High; the centre bank is also nearly cut in two by a creek. Except the western bank they are the property of the Duchess of Sutherland.

066 A large channel in the Nigg Sands visible only at low water and dividing two of the banks from the south. It is about a mile in length but the channel navigable for small boats is very narrow at low water.
