099 This is the parish church of Killearnan and is situated about 30 chains W. [West] of the village of Redcastle and about 5 chains from the north shore of the Beauly Firth. It is built in the form of a Latin cross, is of stone , with slated roof and has recently been repaired and painted. The graveyard which encloses the church has several enclosed burial places within its precints and has long been used as a place of sepulture.
