Parish of Kiltearn -- County of Ross

Croitseul [crossed out]

Clachan Biorach [note]
* The stones fell during a Storm in 1860, when
one of them was smashed. The unbroken one is large
and in form that of an isosceles triangle being very sharp
at the apex. The other stone was of the same shape
before it was broken - it is now a shapeless boulder.
The name signifies "Sharp pointed Stones," which was
quite descriptive when the stones were standing, pointed
ends upwards.
