This pool is siuated at the Entrance to Loch Roag between Little Barnasy, Berasy, Old Hill, Sgair Dearg, and Maesgair. It is clear of rocks and abounds in Cod Ling and Lobsters, It is considered most excellent fishing ground for 'Long Lines" even [cod] smacks sometimes frequent it. The tide rises abot 16 feet, the prevailing winds are S.W. and W.
