A fresh water loch, which is long, narrow, and shallow, Its western banks are high, but those on the east are low. Formerly, this and another small loch adjacent to it, have been one; and at present both are know by the same name, Some time ago there was a dam at the north end to collect the water, as a reservoir for a corn-Mill at Sheadair, At which place a stream issues out. Signifies Tree Loch. |
