A loch of considerable size at Sheadar Village. It contains an island, on which is the ruin of an old castle, no portion of which is now standing. Tradition says nothing whatever regarding this ruin. Signifies Castle Loch.

A low, flat hill, on the margin of Amhuinn Sheadair. It is arable land, and is situated on the West side of the Ness and Stornoway road. Signifies RocKy or Uneven HillocK.
